The OpenAI memory demand will reach up to 900,000 DRAM wafers per month. Developing data centers
Samsung and OpenAI will work together to develop AI data centres. Samsung SDS will work with OpenAI to develop AI data centres for AI services. Samsung C&T and Samsung Heavy Industries will also work together with OpenAI for the advancement of global AI data centres. The main goal of this collaboration is to focus on the joint development of floating data centres. The floating data centres has some advantages like mobility, enhanced coding efficiency, lower land costs and sustanability.
